FIRST EVER DQMO GATHERING COMES TO SAN FRANCISCO
IN OCTOBER!!!
A group of Deaf Gay men from the San Francisco Bay Area is proud to present the first ever Deaf Queer Men Only (DQMO) gathering to take place in San Francisco, CA, on October 2-5, 2008 for Deaf Gay men from all over the world to socialize, network, and celebrate our identity as Deaf Queer Men!
It is a very unique opportunity for Deaf Gay men who love other men to get together and have fun! The weekend extravaganza will begin with the “Cum Out” welcome party at Lookout, a Castro neighborhood gay bar on Thursday night October 2nd. The festivities will continue on Friday with an opening ceremony, an inspiring keynote speaker, entertainment, and a series of forums in the afternoon at the John Holmes Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Community Center. This is to be followed by a coffee social at the Three Dollar Bill Cafe on the first floor of the LGBT Community Center. Saturday will be a day of sightseeing and shopping before meeting up again in the evening at a host bar. Sunday will feature the “Wipe Off” closing ceremony at Dolores Park before we all end the weekend with a bang – at the Castro Street Fair – attended by thousands of gorgeous men!
The core committee consists of 8 fabulous Deaf gay men who are “hard” at work planning this event!
The registration fee for the weekend is: $79.
